The project was a green field site adjacent to an existing main building facility. Shomera provide a design and build service, acting as main contractor under project architect, Glen Campbell.
Tennis Club
Shomera worked with the Tennis club to modify the design and scope of this project in order to bring it within the available budget. The site was a brown field site after an old Council road up-grade office had been converted into a small clubhouse by the tennis club.
An Important Project For the Local Community
Shomera acted as main contractor and PSCS , completing connection to services and a separate sewage pumping facility. The project received a grant from Meath County Council for design. Here is the CAD (Computer Aided Design) Drawing for the Sports Centre that we created prior to starting the project:
Shomera: Well Designed & Well Built
The old building was demolished and a new 160 SQM two-storey clubhouse was built by Shomera with a 50 SQM First floor deck area over which the mono-pitch extends by 3 metres. The Ground Floor, which is finished in acrylic render accommodates male and female changing rooms with shower facilities, an office, a store, a disabled WC and plant room. The First floor clad in Austrian larch has a large function room with kitchen and W.C.'s.
Testimonial
"As a consulting engineer for the client I was very pleased with the Shomera Built concept described by the company as factory-built architecture. Shomera’s fast track construction, their effective on-site project management and their commitment to quality and teamwork ensured the delivery of a top quality building within schedule and budget."
