David O’Reilly
Managing Director

David is Shomera’s Managing Director. With over 19 years of industry experience and a degree in Quantity Surveying and Construction Economics, David focuses on Shomera’s business development and strategy. Bringing a wealth of construction knowledge and an experienced understanding of contracts and commercial management, David's diverse experience plays a pivotal role in the growth of the business.

Stephen O’Reilly
Operations

With over 23 years of industry experience, Stephen heads up Shomera’s Operations and is intimately involved in every step of our projects, from planning to completion. His extensive construction and management experience has resulted in Shomera consistently delivering all projects on time—with an unprecedented 99% on-time and within-budget project success rate.

Pat O’Reilly
Quality Assurance

Pat has extensive management experience with SMEs and multinationals in Ireland and abroad. His disciplined approach ensures that Shomera continuously improves its systems and processes, meeting financial and legal obligations and standing up to regular external audits such as ISO-9001/NSAI. As a direct result, Shomera continuously meets its performance objectives and has an exceptional 96% customer satisfaction rate.

Carol McNamee
Office Administrator

Carol is Shomera’s Office Administrator and the glue that holds the office together. Carol has worked for decades in the construction industry. She knows a happy customer always knows what is happening, so she keeps our clients informed. The measure of Carol’s proficiency is continuously confirmed in customer feedback.

Trish Everard
Customer Care

Trish is a vital part of our customer care team, dealing with customer relations during works and addressing customer issues. This is an important part of the service we provide and contributes to the high level of customer satisfaction reported by our clients.

Darren Tobin
Master Builder

Darren is a Master Builder who has worked for Shomera for over 20 years. Having qualified as a Carpenter, Darren has taken down more walls, put up more steel and built more buildings than the vast majority of builders. Put simply, what Darren doesn’t know about building is not worth knowing.

Sarunas Pocius
Logistics

Sarunas liaises with both the on and off-site teams and coordinates all logistics to ensure on time delivery of all material to and from site. With a lot of off-site construction, our factory plays a key role in our success in delivery and speed of on-site completion.

Mark Griffin
Purchasing Manager

Mark is Shomera’s Purchasing Manager. In construction, materials, suppliers and logistics are a significant part of the management of projects. The complexity of dealing with each element requires a steady hand and Mark’s skilled decision-making ensures he successfully liaises with both suppliers and customers.

Nicola Da Ponte
Head of Design

Nicola is from Venice, Italy, with the family name of Antonio Da Ponte who completed the famous Rialto bridge. In life and architecture, Nicola holds to Dostoevskij's claim "that beauty will save the world”. A member of R.I.A.I. he is Head of Design in Shomera where the attention to details meets with rigorous design practice and timber craftsmanship. He holds a PG Cert in Sustainability & Energy Analysis for Retrofit.

Artur Staniecki
Design Team

Artur was born and raised in Gliwice, Poland. With an engineering degree in Mechanical Building Services, he specialised in the thermal performance of buildings and CO2 reduction. Having moved to Ireland and keen to develop new skills, he joined the Shomera design team and uses his engineering experience to design our off-site work and building performance quality.

Michael Fahy
Design Team

Michael, one of Shomera’s Design team, has over 25 years' experience in domestic construction. Working specifically on the residential side of construction, his knowledge and specialised experience bring a wealth of knowledge to our customers.

Cameron Boardman
Design Team

Cameron is the newest member of the Shomera team. After a period of intensive training in all things Shomera, he combined this learning with his artistic background and flare for design. His ability to match requirements with the best design, has been acknowledged and appreciated by our clients.

Ray Moylan
Design Team

Ray, a senior member of our Design team, holds a Master's degree and has 20 years' experience in domestic construction. He has guided Shomera’s clients through hundreds of projects with great on-site understanding and a fantastic eye for layout and the potential of your home. Ray’s mantra, “Great projects start with excellent and functional design.

Mark Langrell
Design Team

Mark, a member of the Design team, is a Chartered Engineer with 15 years' experience. He is an expert at 3-dimensional modelling and design, a skill that gives life to our customer’s visions. Before Mark joined the on-site Design team he was responsible for design and drawings so he brings his immense experience out to your home.
