The client wanted a modern, multi-functional garden structure to replace an existing one that no longer served its purpose. Our solution? A beautifully detailed, bespoke studio that combines comfort and practicality — all within a cedar-clad exterior.

The Brief

Our client wanted a garden space that felt like an extension of the home – a place to work, unwind, and host guests. He also wanted secure, easy-access storage for his motorbike via the laneway behind the property. The new studio needed to accommodate this without compromising on style or comfort.

Our Solution

Shomera designed a tailored studio that balances lifestyle with smart design details:

A custom shed extension was integrated into the structure with rear laneway access and an electric roller garage door, allowing safe, effortless storage for the client’s motorbike.
The main studio was fitted out with a kitchen/bar area, creating a perfect spot for entertaining.
A fully equipped toilet and shower room
Externally, the building features horizontal cedar cladding, chosen for its warmth, durability, and modern aesthetic.
Aluminium joinery, fascia, and soffit upgrades provided a contemporary edge and low-maintenance durability.
